Most coliving experiences sell you the setting. The villa. The view. The fast WiFi. The activities on the calendar.

But AMONG was created for what is harder to find as digital nomads: true belonging, depth, local culture, co-creation and the kind of connection that makes a new place feel like home.

Because working from anywhere is beautiful, but it does not always mean you feel connected.

Matej

Creator of AMONG, Matej is Croatian — a data architect by trade, an experience architect at heart. Years of remote work carried him through 34 countries and a year living in Bali, and taught him the truth behind the dream: freedom without belonging is just a beautiful kind of lonely. He came home to Istria, where his family has run 70+ villas for 10 years, and built AMONG to be exactly what he'd spent years searching for on the road — a place where people don't just pass through, they belong.

Ardi

Ardi

Ardi is a Croatian event curator with 3 years across music and art industries, bringing the warmth, local instinct, and hospitality that turns a coliving into a place called home. After years in a digital-oriented world, she made a choice to reshape her life around physical experiences — art, music, and the kind of genuine human connection that only happens in the same room. Everything she creates is an invitation for others to do the same.

Mariah

Mariah

Mariah is from Northern California and built her own marketing business in 2019 to create the freedom to work and travel on her own terms. Discovering coliving in Spain, she found the kind of community she had always been looking for, and later met Matej and Ardi there, where the idea for AMONG began. She brings her love for wellness, entrepreneurship, and personal growth to AMONG, helping guests feel connected and supported long after the trip ends.
